WINERY INFORMATION :

Four Sisters produces a premium range of refreshing whites, magnificent reds and easy drinking sparkling wines. The company crafts these wines using fruit picked from lush vineyards planted at selective sites in Central Victoria, including Strathbogie Ranges, Goulbourn Valley and Nagambie Lake. The company received accreditation for greenhouse gas certification under ISO 14065, and became ‘Carbon Neutral’ in 2014.

TASTING NOTES :

The fruit for this delicious Four Sisters Shiraz was harvested, crushed and then fermented in sweeping arm red fermenters. The base wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak, with a small portion of the juice stored in stainless steel tanks. This deep purple hued Shiraz showcases magenta highlights lurking throughout. The perfumed nose gives off mesmerising scents which intermix with delicate fruit flavours of plums, blackberries and raspberries on the juicy palate. These characters are supported by light hints of spice, to end the wine in a balanced and satisfying finale. This bold Shiraz can be cellared for 2 to 6 years from vintage for enhancing its grand flavour profile. Suggested food pairings for this luscious red wine include chargrilled steak, rack of lamb and wood fired pizza.
