Frogmore Creek, located in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, is renowned for producing elegant cool-climate wines that showcase purity, balance, and expressive fruit. The Iced Riesling is a signature dessert wine, capturing the intense aromatics and sweetness of naturally frozen grapes.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
Fruit for the 2024 Iced Riesling was hand-harvested from low-yielding Riesling vines during early winter frosts, allowing the grapes to freeze naturally on the vine. The cold conditions concentrated sugars and flavours, producing a wine of exceptional intensity and freshness.

Winemaking Process
Frozen grapes were carefully pressed, and fermentation was slow and controlled to retain freshness, natural acidity, and varietal expression. Minimal intervention preserved the purity and elegance of the fruit.

Tasting Notes
Pale golden with bright highlights. Aromas of citrus marmalade, apricot, and blossom are complemented by honeyed notes. The palate is luscious yet balanced by crisp acidity, offering concentrated stone fruit flavours and a long, refreshing finish.
