Fuddling Cup began in Geographe with a focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and now operates in Margaret River’s acclaimed Wilyabrup sub-region, noted for its gravelly loam over clay that brings depth and varietal clarity to its wines. 

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2018 vintage was widely celebrated in Western Australia as outstanding, and this Cabernet embodies that quality, ripe fruit, poised structure and excellent varietal harmony.

Winemaking Process

After harvest, the wine was matured in French oak to lend weight and spice, while keeping the fruit centre-stage and refined.

Tasting Notes

Deep, vibrant crimson in the glass with aromas of black cherry, cassis, cedar and a trace of bay leaf. The palate shows a firm core of "oyster shell" tannins and well-balanced oak. This wine has elegance and has begun to evolve beautifully.
