Senior Winemaker Shane Harris ensures that the wines created by showcase the best of the vines nurtured without losing their intense fruit characteristics. As a former chef by trade, he uses his culinary skills to produce exquisite, food-friendly wines. He joined the company in 2006.   

TASTING NOTES

Pertaringa Over the Top Shiraz is a deep purple-hued wine flaunting a dark crimson haze. This stunning Shiraz emanates pleasing aromas of plums, apricots, cloves and floral from its fragrant nose. The palate is dense with concentrated flavours of plums and wild strawberries, coupled with smooth tannins. These flavours and fragrances fuse together and culminate in a delicate and satisfying finale. This mouth-watering red wine can be cellared for twelve years or relished immediately upon release. It tastes great with oysters stuffed scotch fillet steak, wrapped in bacon.
