WINERY INFORMATION
Wines by Geoff Hardy is a family owned and operated wine company, founded by accomplished vigneron Geoff Hardy. Geoff together with his fellow viticulturist Ian Leask established the Pertaringa vineyards in 1980. This wine derived its name from the scarecrow used to dissuade the local birds from the family vineyards.
TASTING NOTES
Pertaringa Scarecrow Sauvignon Blancfrom Geoff Hardy Wines is a transparent wine showing light green tinges. The aromatic nose exudes vibrant scents of guava, passionfruit and citrus blossom. The luscious palate packs lychee, gooseberries and green pawpaw flavours, culminating in a crisp and refreshing finish. This beautiful Sauv Blanc has been crafted to be relished immediately upon release. Drink this enticing white wine with grilled Moreton Bay bug tails served alongside lime and black pepper aioli, and fresh green salad.
