Located in the picturesque landscape of New Zealand’s Marlborough region, Giesen wine estate covers 13 vineyards covering 700 acres, spread in and around the Marlborough wine region. The estate was established by Alex, Theo and Marcel Giesen, who purchased their first plot of land in Burnham to cultivate their own vineyard. The head office of the company is located in Christchurch, NZ.

TASTING NOTES:

Giesen Small Batch Pinot Noir shows a deep red colour with light magenta hues. The perfumed bouquet gives off vibrant aromas of dark cherries, currants and cassis, coupled with forest floor and spice nuances. These intense fragrances integrate with a lush and juicy palate containing bright fruit flavours and firm tannins, ending this exquisite Pinot Noir in a lengthy and structured finish. Suggested food pairings for this wonderful red wine include grilled asparagus, chicken sausages and mushroom risotto.
