TASTING NOTES

Poured into a glass, Howard Park Merlot flaunts a deep crimson colour with brick red edges. This Margaret River wine has an exciting bouquet opening with intensely fruity aromas of plum and blackberry, fused with hints of black liquorice, violets, savoury herbs and spices. These aromas lead to a palate showing a symphony of dark chocolate, plush fruits and cedary, vanilla spice notes. Rounded by soft & silky tannins, it's a medium bodied, elegant wine which pairs best with pungent blue cheeses and tomato based pasta dishes.
