John Riddoch migrated from Scotland to Coonawarra and established Katnook in 1896 after recognising the enormous potential of the maritime climate and unique Terra Rossa soils. Katnook Estate is a range that epitomises the Classic Coonawarra. These single varietal wines have been crafted with perfection by giving attention to details since 1980. Finely balanced wines with concentrated fruit flavours and great regional integrity. These wines will reap the benefits of many years cellaring.

TASTING NOTES:

An eye pleasing pale gold coloured wine with green tinges releasing rich fruity aromas of white peach,ripe pear and citrus with subtle vanilla and cashew nut oak maturation notes. The palate showcases complex layers of vibrant stone fruit flavours with citrus hints. The elegant oak maturation charactersadd balance and structure to the wine.
