Ladbroke Grove Wines has deep roots in Coonawarra, established in 1982 and revived under the stewardship of John Cox and Marie Valenzuela. Today, they craft approachable, terroir-driven wines across several ranges, Cloverleaf being the entry-level line that emphasizes regional fruit character, especially from renowned Coonawarra vineyards. 

Region & Vintage Conditions

This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the cool, structured vineyards of Coonawarra, known for their terra rossa soils overlaying limestone. The 2017 season was steady and balanced, yielding fruit with bright aromatics and crisp acidity, ideal for fresh, vibrant whites. 

Winemaking

The wine was crafted with restraint and purity in mind. Grapes were gently pressed, and fermentation took place in stainless steel to retain vivacious aromatics and a clean, lively profile, no oak, just bright fruit and refreshing acidity.
