The first wine under the MadFish label was launched in 1992 by Burch Family Wines. The brand went international four years later and is known worldwide today for its fresh and fruit-centric wines. Located in Western Australia's most popular wine region - Margaret River, MadFish excels in contemporary, cool climate wines. The brand takes inspiration from the wild, coastal and pure characteristics of the south-west part of Western Australia.

TASTING NOTES

MadFish Shiraz is an award-winning red displaying a rich garnet colour with great density. The nose is generous with dark cherry, black and blue berry aromas, as well as subtle savoury notes. The palate offers flavours of cherry, dark plum and chocolate along with an earthy complexity, gentle tannin structure and ample length. All-in-all, it's an opulent, full-bodied wine showing concentrated fruit flavours and a soft, approachable palate. It’s a great choice to pair with spicy venison sausages, lamb moussaka or beef bourguignon.
