A joint venture between Pascal Marchand and Burch Family Wines, Marchand & Burch is a 5-star rated winery based in Margaret River. Specialising in Western Australian and Burgundy wine styles, the winery sources its grapes from single vineyards situated in Porongurup and Mount Barker. The vineyards practice biodynamic culture with Burgandian viticultural techniques, which develop terroir-specific characteristics in the fruit.

TASTING NOTES

Marchand and Burch Mount Barrow Pinot Noir displays a deep cherry colour in the glass. The wine opens with aromas of poached berries, spices, earth, cocoa and sweet herbs. The rich flavours of the palate are textured with silky fruit, grippy stalk and sweet oak tannins. This attractive combination offers great length and structure to the wine. It's a definitive wine with fine balance and structural elegance. Flavoursome while young and complex over ageing, this Pinot Noir pairs well with Teriyaki salmon, shiitake and steamed gai lan.
