A very unusual gin, made in the Black Forest, just outside of Stuttgart in Germany. The distillery was founded by Wing Commander Montgomery Collins after retiring from the Royal Air Force. A reclusive and eccentric character he named his gin after a monkey that he sponsored at the Berlin zoo. Why the number 47? Well, there are a whopping 47 botanicals in this gin bottled at 47% ABV.
