One of the premier wineries of Mudgee region, Montrose is famous for producing exotic wines. It is now under the care of the industry famous Robert Oatley. For Montrose Black Shiraz, the fruit was sourced from vineyards over 500m in altitude that gave it an excellent structure and elegance. The wine has rich fruit flavors backed by oak and well-rounded and fine tannins. It can be cellared for 6 to 10 years. Enjoy it with red meats, barbeques, tomato and chicken based pasta and game dishes etc.
