Moppity Cato Nebbiolo 2017 Hilltops - 12 Bottles

WINERY INFORMATION:

Established back in 1973, the Moppity Vineyard has been the birthplace of flavoursome and vibrant grapes for more than four decades now. Current owners Alecia and Jason Brown came to Hilltops searching for a site to fulfil their lifelong dream of crafting world-class Shiraz wines. The Browns purchased Moppity, slowly planting 170 acres of the property with an endless mix of blocks and clones.

TASTING NOTES:

Cato Nebbiolo from Moppity shows a vibrant, dark purple colour. The complex nose gives off enticing aromas of violets, roses, cherries and licorice. The medium-bodied palate features chewy and long-lasting flavours of cherry, blackberry, creamy strawberry and tobacco. These elements fuse with a good acid line and chalky, finely-ground tannins, eventually leading to a fine and lengthy finish. This delicious red wine will match well with cheese, vegetables and meats.
