Moppity Vineyards is a reputed wine estate located on Moppity Road in Young, New South Wales. The winemaking team headed by Jason Brown crafts an excellent range of handcrafted, single vineyard wines. The company has owned and managed by Alecia and Jason Brown since 2004. The Estate range offers a collection of some of the most fragrant, vibrant and robust wines, unique to the NSW region.

TASTING NOTES:

Crafted using a combination of 2% Viognier and 98% Shiraz grapes, Moppity Estate Shiraz presents a deep purple colour, with inky highlights along the edges. The aromatic bouquet exhibits mesmerising scents of dark berries and plums, with spicy notes following close behind. This mouth-watering Shiraz is soft and textured on the palate, containing intense flavours of forest fruits, spice and cedary oak, supported by savoury nuances. Supple tannins drive the mouth-filling palate to a long and captivating finale. Drink it with eye fillet with a pepper cream sauce or BBQ baby back ribs to fully appreciate its flavour profile.
