Vintage Conditions
The 2021 growing season in Riverland was shaped by warm, dry days and cooler nights—ideal conditions for producing ripe, flavourful grapes while preserving natural acidity. The region’s consistent sunshine and controlled irrigation helped deliver fruit with depth, balance, and intensity, making it a strong vintage for red varietals.

Winemaking
This blend brings together two powerhouse grapes - Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. After harvest, the grapes were vinified with care to retain their vibrancy and varietal character. Maturation in oak introduced subtle layers of vanilla and spice, along with that unmistakable toasty coconut character that adds length and warmth to the finish. The result is a smooth, expressive red wine with structure, personality, and crowd-pleasing appeal.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in colour, this wine draws you in with its inviting aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee. On the palate, there’s a rich interplay of sweet vanilla, bold chocolate and espresso notes, all wrapped in supple tannins and lifted by bright acidity. The oak influence is evident but well-integrated, leaving a lingering impression of toasted coconut and gentle spice. A bold yet balanced red with plenty of charm.

Food Pairing
Thanks to its depth and versatility, this Shiraz Cabernet is a perfect companion for a wide range of dishes. Pair it with grilled meats, roast lamb, or a slow-cooked beef ragu. It also holds its own alongside hearty vegetarian options like mushroom bourguignon, lentil stew, or chargrilled aubergine.
