WINERY INFORMATION

Nepenthe is a family owned wine estate, first planted with 24ha of grapevines. It was established by the Tweddell family in 1994, on a flourishing piece of land in the Lenswood sub-region in Adelaide Hills. With the success of their premium wines, the family purchased Charleston Vineyard in 1997, followed by the acquisition of Balhannah Vineyard in 2002 and Hahndorf Vineyard in 2005.

TASTING NOTES

Nepenthe Sauvignon Blanc displays a pale straw hue with lime green shades. The attractive bouquet emanates intense aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit, coupled with underlying green apple and fresh cut grass nuances. The palate is dense and elegant, filled with zesty and lifted fruit flavours supported by lively acidity. This delightful Sauv Blanc ends in a long and persistent finish. Made for consumption upon release, this tempting white wine tastes amazing with sushi, chicken salad and fresh goat cheese.
