Winery Background
Oliver’s Taranga is a multi-generational family estate in McLaren Vale, led by winemaker Corrina Wright—known informally as the “Queen of Fiano.” The Small Batch series highlights individual varieties and blocks, showcasing the estate’s dedication to terroir, craft, and innovation.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2025 vintage enjoyed ideal growing conditions: rainy cool spring followed by a consistent, dry warmth—perfect for Fiano. These conditions yielded grapes with expressive aromatics, layered texture, and vibrant natural acidity. A portion of the wine was fermented in older French oak, adding subtle complexity and elegance.

Winemaking Process
This is a minimal-intervention Fiano, made primarily with wild yeast and fermented in neutral oak and stainless steel. It was bottled without fining or filtration, preserving full flavour, textural richness, and varietal purity.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with aromas of gin and cut lime, nashi pear, juniper, pine nut, and a touch of wet river stone. The palate is textured and zesty—lime-driven with creamy lees nuances, nutty undertones, and varietal precision. Refreshing, energetic, and irresistibly drinkable.

Delicately textured yet lively, this Fiano pairs beautifully with seafood, especially sashimi or oysters, as well as shellfish risottos, lemon-roasted chicken, and soft cheeses.
