WINERY INFORMATION

Located on Sevenhill-Mintaro Road in Polish Hill River, SA, Paulett Wines produces an outstanding range of elegant and intensely flavoured wines. The winemaking team led by winemaker Kirk McDonald uses premium fruit parcels picked from their 114 acres of family vineyards. The company is owned and managed by Neil and Alison Paulett. They released their first vintage in 1983. 

TASTING NOTES

Trillians Sparkling Red Piccolos is a fusion of 18.3% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11.7% Malbec grapes with 58% Shiraz grapes. These grapes were matured in American and French oak, which led to the creation of a dark ruby hued wine. The fragrant nose is perfumed with juicy plum and savoury scents. The juicy palate packs plum, berry and spice flavours, culminating in an elegant and captivating finish. This stunning red blend from Paulett Wines has been crafted for immediate consumption but can also be relished within a cellaring term of five years from vintage. It can be served as an aperitif or enjoyed with plum pudding, roast turkey and pates.
