TASTING NOTES:

Medium red. Quite typical characters of dark cherry, cranberry and damp earth are all on display here. Also just a hint of dried wild flowers evident too. As always, the fine drying tannins and cleansing acidity are features of this quite juicy, cherry & cranberry flavoured palate. Sangiovese is always more savoury than sweet in its profile, the tannins and acid combining to give length and drive. Sangiovese is one of the ideal companions for grilled veal, pork or lamb â€“ any food with a bit of fat or oil. Also terrific with your favourite pizza. Cellaring for a few years is not a problem either â€“ 3-5 years will not hurt it one bit.
