Vineyard and Vintage Conditions

Sourced from a single site in Woori Yallock, this Pinot Noir is made from the MV6 clone, known for its delicate and expressive character. The 2022 vintage was marked by a warm end, leading to small yields but exceptional quality, showcasing both concentration and finesse. 

Winemaking

The fruit underwent partial destemming and was fermented as whole berries, with 40% whole cluster inclusion, allowing for subtle complexities. Fermentation lasted for three weeks on skins, followed by 10 months of maturation in French oak barriques, 20% of which were new. This method imparts gentle tannins and a whisper of volcanic-earth salinity, enhancing the wine's elegance.
