Vineyard and Vintage Conditions

The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Rochford's estate vineyards in the Yarra Valley. The 2023 vintage experienced a cool growing season, allowing for slow ripening and the development of concentrated flavours. The vineyard's well-drained soils and ideal microclimate impart a distinctive minerality to the wine.

Winemaking

The grapes were hand-harvested and carefully sorted to ensure only the best fruit was used. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh and vibrant characteristics of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. The wine was aged on its lees to enhance texture and mouthfeel.
