WINERY INFORMATION

Founded in 1996, Rutherglen Estates is a reputed wine company located in Rutherglen, Victoria. The estate spreads across a total area of 518ha, with 185ha planted with thriving grapevines. The first vines of the company were planted in 1997, when RE Vineyards Management took up the responsibility of developing the estate’s vineyards. These vineyards are managed by skilled viticulturist Matthew Partridge, who joined the company in 2007.

TASTING NOTES

Rutherglen Estates Arneis features a bright straw colour, with yellow shades offering a beautiful appearance. A swirl of the glass offers subtle spicy and herbaceous aromas. The generous palate is brimming with pear and almond flavours, balanced by fresh acidity. These wonderful flavours and fragrances combine to end the wine in a delicate and lingering finale. This enticing Arneis has been crafted for immediate consumption, but can also be cellared for 3 years from vintage. It matches perfectly with fresh fish, pasta and Italian dishes.
