With a vibrant family history dating back to 1890 when John Riddoch founded the Coonawarra region, Peter and Judy Rymill established Rymill Coonawarra Vineyards in 1974. The winemaking team, headed by Senior Winemaker Sandrine Gimon, uses premium fruit parcels from their vineyards rich in unique terra rossa soils, to craft wines of great finesse, balance and power.

TASTING NOTES:

Rymill Classic Shiraz features a deep red colour with purple highlights. The attractive bouquet is perfumed with intense fruit aromas, with hints of chocolate and liquorice evident in the backdrop. This dazzling Shiraz is soft and lush on the palate, brimming with juicy flavours of dark fruits and spices coupled with hints of caramel and mocha. These complex aromas and flavours fuse with sweet tannins to offer a creamy texture as well as a gentle yet powerful finish. Crafted to relish upon release, this delightful red wine can develop gracefully with a cellaring term of 10 years. Drink this full bodied red wine with crispy pork belly, or bruschetta with olive oil and fresh mozzarella.
