Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The grapes for this Moscato are sourced from select South Australian vineyards with red sandy loam over limestone soils, allowing optimal drainage and flavour development. The 2023 vintage benefited from early spring rainfall followed by a warm, dry summer, producing grapes with concentrated aromatics and balanced natural acidity. Careful canopy management and hand-harvesting ensured only the best fruit was selected for this expressive, aromatic wine.

Winemaking

The grapes were gently crushed and pressed to maintain delicate flavours, with a cool fermentation in stainless steel to highlight the grape’s natural fruit sweetness and lively acidity. A controlled halt to fermentation retained a touch of natural grape sugar, giving the wine its signature balance of sweetness and sparkle. A light spritz was introduced prior to bottling to create the refreshing, slightly frizzante style that makes Moscato so enticing.
