WINERY INFORMATION

Owned and managed by the Purbrick family, Tahbilk is a reputed winery located on O’Neils Road in Tabilk, Victoria. The winery was established in the year 1860. The landscape on which the winery is situated was referred to as tabilk-tabilk, in the aboriginal Daung-wurrung language, meaning the place with many water holes. The name of the Tahbilk wine brand was derived from this aboriginal term. 

TASTING NOTES

One Million Cuttings Chardonnay displays a stunning yellow colour, accompanied by lime tints. The fragrant nose exudes lovely scents of peach and honeydew melon. These aromas get replicated on the juicy palate, where they are joined by toasty notes of French and American oak. These characters eventually pave the way for a balanced and elegant finale. With a cellaring potential of 2 to 5 years from vintage, this delicious Chardonnay complements foods like light salads and char-grilled seafood.
