Tahbilk offers a wide range of prestigious and flavoursome wines, representing five generations of the Purbrick family’s winemaking experience. Established in 1860, the winery was acquired by the present owners in 1925. Situated in the picturesque Nagambie Lakes region in Central Victoria, the company is currently managed by General Manager Alister Pubrick.

TASTING NOTES

The luscious grapes used to craft One Million Cuttings Shiraz were picked and crushed during the cool night hours. This led to the creation of a ruby red hued wine offering bright purple highlights along the edges. The fragrant nose is perfumed with blackcurrant, earth and spice aromas, making way for a savoury palate. A sip of the wine reveals generous flavours of plum and dark berry, coupled with black pepper hints. This delightful Shiraz from Tahbilk ends in an enticing finish. It can be stored in the cellar for 1 to 5 years to enhance its grand fruit flavours. Pair this mouth watering red wine with a hearty stew, or gourmet barbecued meat dishes.
