Taltarni Vineyards was established in the year 1969. Owned by John Goelet, it is one of the most-renowned wineries located in the Pyrenees wine region of Victoria. Environment-friendly winemaking methods are employed to craft their premium range of red, white and sparkling wines.

TASTING NOTES:

This red is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of 55% Cab Sav, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. These varieties underwent MLF in new and seasoned French oak followed by 12 months of maturation prior to blending. Poured into a glass it flaunts a deep plum colour. The bouquet exudes aromas of ripe blackberries, forest fruits, raspberries and spices along with leafy and cigar box notes. Matching flavours on the medium-bodied palate are complemented by smooth tannins seamlessly paving the way for an elegant finish. You may savour this award-winning wine with grilled mushroom, lasagna or lamb preparations.
