WINERY INFORMATION:

Reborn in 1995, Tatachilla winery has a long history which dates back to 1903. Situated to the north of McLaren Vale, the winery had been owned by Penfolds till 1961, and changed ownership multiple times. Lion Nathan purchased the winery in 2002 and it was then acquired by Accolades Wines in 2017. Wines under this brand are now crafted under the supervision of winemaker Jeremy Ottawa.

TASTING NOTES:

This light straw coloured wine is made from fruit that comes from diverse vineyards of South Eastern Australia. The flavourful light-bodied wine has fresh notes of lime citrus and poached pear with spicy nuances. The palate is limey with a juicy mouthfeel and fine acid line. Savour it chilled with Macaroni and cheese.
