Tim Gramp Wines is celebrated for its dedication to crafting outstanding Rieslings that reflect the unique character of the Clare Valley. This 2023 Watervale Riesling is sourced from the renowned Castine family Golf House single-site vineyard. Known for its attention to detail and quality, Tim Gramp produces wines that truly capture the essence of the Clare Valley’s terroir.

Winemaking:
The fruit for this wine was sourced from the prestigious Castine family Golf House vineyard. Harvested in mid-March, the grapes were carefully processed to ensure purity and freshness. Only free-run juice was used, which was then cold stabilised and filtered post-fermentation. The mild weather conditions between January and April allowed for even ripening and a balance of flavour and natural acidity. The wine was bottled in mid-May, with an alcohol content of 12.50%.

Tasting Notes:
This classic dry-style Riesling showcases the best of the Watervale region. It opens with vibrant aromas of lime and lemon, accented by delicate floral notes. On the palate, refreshing citrus flavours are perfectly balanced by a lively acidity, with a clean finish that lingers with great length. This wine has the potential to age beautifully, with a recommended cellaring period of 7 to 10 years, during which it will develop enticing complexity.

Ideal for pairing with seafood, this Riesling complements dishes such as grilled prawns, fresh oysters, or a lemon-infused fish ceviche.
