Established in 2007, Vinaceous Wines is owned and operated by Nick Stacy and Mike Kerrigan. The winery utilises grapes from the best vineyards in Margaret River, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills to make its unique range of fine Australian wines. The winery has received international acclaim and awards for a ‘travelling carnival’ of characters, and the same is demonstrated in its Shakre Chardonnay too.

TASTING NOTES

Fermented 80% in stainless steel tanks and the rest in French oak barriques, Vinaceous Shakre Chardonnay has been designed to display the strengths of modern Margaret River Chardonnay. This wine of merit features a pale lemon colour and opens with bright and clean fruit aromas accompanied by subtle oak nuances. Juicy and structured on the palate, the wine offers a crisp and clean finish that lingers on. It's a casual, uncomplicated accompaniment to a variety of meals, especially mushrooms.
