The fruit for West Cape Howe Regional Sauvignon Blanc was harvested in the night from Mount Barker. It is a bright and clear wine showing a lemony green colour in the glass. The bouquet emanates light fragrances of tropical fruit, with citrus blossom hints and delicate herbaceousness. Crisp and dry with good weight, it is best enjoyed while young. This Mount Barker Chardonnay can also be cellared for 1-3 years. Fine and delicate, this is a lovely wine to drink with Cheddar and Gruyere cheeses, shellfish, and vegetarian dishes.
