Founder Robert Oatley had diverse interests before he decided to go into winemaking. One of those interests was in competitive sailing. He was successful in this field and was given the nickname Wild Oats to celebrate his passion and excitement. This name was carried to be the label for his range of approachable and easy-to-drink wines that can be considered as modern classics.

TASTING NOTES:

The Wild Oats Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is an 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Semillon blend with a 13% alcohol level. A refreshing drink perfect for Australia warm climate, it is a fruit-driven wine with grassy notes in the background. It is bright and zesty, filling the nose with fruit aromas. Fresh and crisp with an elegant structure and refreshing zing, this wine is best enjoyed on a hot summer afternoon by the pool while feasting on salads and seafood.
