Acclaimed vigneron Larry Cherubino, Director of Winemaking, achieves this with his premier winemaking team based in Oatley winery in Mudgee and more on-site experts and facilities in McLaren Vale, Margaret River and Yarra Valley.

TASTING NOTES:

The Chardonnay grapes were harvested from the Mudgee wine region, NSW. Having an alcohol level of 12.5%, this white varietal is straw-coloured, with light tinges of green. The aromatic nose slowly unfurls in the glass and reveals lively fruit aromas of ripe apple, pear, peach, strong minerals and a spritz of citrus coupled with an air of delicate florals. The palate is fresh, clean, crisp and full-flavoured with a refreshing acidity. Its weight and texture add to its nippy and clean finish. This elegant Chardonnay pairs well with cheddar or gruyere cheeses, butternut squash risotto, Japanese-style pork belly, roast chicken with honey-sesame carrots, roast turkey, lightly cooked shellfish, creamy prawn gumbos and vegetable terrines.
