Tim Adams Wines is located in Clare Valley. It was first established by Tim and Pam Adams along with partners Bill and Jill Wray in year 1984. Their first idea was to craft wines and oak casks. The first year of business did not go very well as the company experienced a grape shortage. However, a good friend came to their aid and provided 10 tonnes of Shiraz to Tim Adams. The first release of the wines was done in 1986 under the name of ‘Adams and Wray’ label. This partnership lasted only a year post that and was dissolved in 1987.
