De Bortoli Wines was founded in 1928 by Italian immigrant Vittorio De Bortoli in Bilbul, New South Wales, who landed in Australia with nothing but a dream. The De Bortoli Wines Griffith winery, located in Bilbul near Griffith in the Riverina, New South Wales, is where it all began, and remains the heartbeat of the De Bortoli Griffith story to this day. Now in its 4th generation, the family-owned winery has grown into one of Australia’s most esteemed and beautifully crafted wine producers across 6 regions. Managing Director Darren De Bortoli created the now iconic Noble One Botrytis Semillon in 1982 and has since won 104 awards and 352 Gold Medals internationally.
