About the Wine

Alex Sherrah founded Sherrah Wines in McLaren Vale in 2017, after gaining experience at Tatachilla, Knappstein and O'Leary Walker in South Australia, plus stints at Kendall Jackson's Cardinale Estate in Napa Valley and in Burgundy and Austria. This preservative free Grenache is made with a minimal intervention approach that puts the fruit first, bright ruby red in the glass, with lifted aromas of red berries, wild plum, tart cherry, white pepper and baking spice, and a juicy, vibrant palate of red cherry and wild plum fruit backed by soft texture and gentle tannins. It is also vegan friendly, and pairs well with charcuterie, wood fired pizza, grilled lamb or Mediterranean style dishes.
