Set up by Dr William Thomas Angove in 1886, Angove Family Winemakers is a premium wine producer currently managed by the fourth and fifth generation family members. With a long-term perspective, the brand adopted sustainable and organic practices. It’s known in the industry for premium quality wines for which it won a 5 red star rating along with other awards and accolades.

TASTING NOTES

A blend of 42% Grenache, 34% Shiraz and 24% Mourvedre, it was aged for 9 months in French oak. Poured into a glass it flaunts a bright garnet red colour. On the nose, it exudes plums, cherries, cloves, star anise and subtle vanilla aromas. These fragrances are followed by a wonderful palate showcasing similar cherry and plum flavours along with toffee notes; complemented by a rounded texture, these characteristics eventually culminate in a lengthy finish. You may pair it with roast meats like pork or charcuterie for an enhanced experience.
