Founded in 1975, Ashbrook Estate is one of Margaret River’s oldest family-run wineries. The estate is celebrated for crafting wines with purity, precision, and a strong sense of place, focusing on small-batch production and hand-crafted attention to detail.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2024 vintage enjoyed a long, mild growing season, with cool nights preserving acidity and aromatic lift in the Riesling grapes. Sourced from mature estate vines planted in gravelly loam soils, the fruit displayed excellent flavour concentration and balance.

Winemaking Process

Hand-picked fruit was gently pressed, with only free-run juice used for the final wine. A cool, slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks retained the Riesling’s delicate floral and citrus notes. The wine was bottled early to capture maximum freshness and vibrancy.

Tasting Notes

Pale green-gold in colour. Fragrant aromas of lime zest, white flowers, and subtle mineral nuances. The palate is crisp and linear, offering flavours of citrus, green apple, and slate, carried by mouth-watering acidity to a long, clean finish.
