Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2023 vintage experienced a warm, dry summer with cool evening breezes, ideal for Semillon. The estate’s mature vines, planted in free-draining gravelly loam soils, yielded low but intensely flavoured fruit with excellent natural acidity, perfect for producing a vibrant, age-worthy wine.

Winemaking Process

Grapes were hand-harvested in the cool of the morning to preserve aromatics. After gentle pressing, the juice underwent cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to enhance freshness and varietal purity. The wine was bottled early to lock in crisp, zesty flavours.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw in colour. Aromas of lemon blossom, fresh cut herbs, and hints of green apple. The palate is light and lively, showing citrus, lemongrass, and mineral notes with a refreshing acidity that drives a long, clean finish.
