Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2023 season brought a mild, dry ripening period with cool nights, perfect for developing Verdelho’s tropical fruit intensity while retaining crisp acidity. The Hunter Valley’s sandy loam soils provided excellent drainage, encouraging healthy vine growth and concentrated fruit flavours.

Winemaking Process

Grapes were picked at optimal ripeness in the cool early morning to lock in freshness. Fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures preserved aromatic lift and fruit purity. A short period on fine lees added texture without compromising the wine’s lively character.
