Bruno Rocca is a family-owned estate in the Barbaresco hills of Piedmont, known for expressing the character of individual vineyard sites through its Nebbiolo wines. Marcorino is one of the newer vineyards in the Bruno Rocca range, located just below the medieval town of Neive. Its distinctive position contributes to a wine with depth, freshness and pronounced mineral character.

Vintage Conditions

The 2021 vintage produced Nebbiolo with excellent depth, freshness and structure. The wine remains youthful, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity supporting its concentrated fruit profile and giving it strong potential for further development in bottle.

Winemaking Techniques

Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Marcorino vineyard, the wine is carefully vinified to preserve the character of the fruit and its site. Extended maturation allows the tannins and fruit to integrate while retaining the wine's natural freshness and structure.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright ruby garnet

Aroma: Cherry, subtle floral notes, bay leaf, black truffle and delicate herbal nuances

Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe cherry and sour-cherry flavours supported by firm, grippy tannins and lively acidity
