Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2024 GSM is sourced from selected vineyards across McLaren Vale. The region's Mediterranean climate, cooling sea breezes and diverse soils provide ideal conditions for Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, allowing each variety to develop generous fruit intensity while retaining freshness and balance. The 2024 growing season delivered excellent fruit quality with vibrant flavour concentration and refined structure.

Winemaking Techniques

Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro were fermented separately under temperature-controlled conditions to preserve the character of each variety before blending. Gentle oak maturation adds texture and subtle spice while allowing the vibrant fruit profile to remain the focus of the wine.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red with vibrant purple hues.

Aroma: Lifted aromas of ripe raspberry, blackberry and plum are complemented by notes of sweet spice, dried herbs and subtle mocha.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, offering generous flavours of red and dark berries, juicy plum and spice. Soft, rounded tannins and balanced acidity create a smooth, approachable palate.

Finish: Long and supple, with lingering dark fruit, savoury spice and a fresh, well-balanced finish.
