Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2020 Pinot Noir is sourced from selected vineyards in McLaren Vale. Although better known for its bold reds, the region's Mediterranean climate, cooling afternoon sea breezes and varied soils allow Pinot Noir to develop ripe fruit flavours while retaining freshness and balance. The 2020 growing season produced fruit with excellent concentration and varietal expression.

Winemaking Techniques

The fruit was fermented under carefully controlled temperatures to preserve its delicate aromatics and bright fruit profile. Gentle maturation in French oak adds subtle texture and complexity while allowing the vibrant fruit character to remain the focus.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright ruby red with youthful crimson hues.

Aroma: Fragrant aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry are complemented by hints of forest floor, dried herbs and delicate spice.

Palate: Medium-bodied and silky, with flavours of red cherry, cranberry and raspberry supported by soft tannins, vibrant acidity and subtle savoury notes.

Finish: Long, smooth and elegant, with lingering red berry fruit, gentle spice and refined earthy complexity.
