WINERY INFORMATION

Chambers Rosewood is a family owned winery producing internationally acclaimed fortified wines like Muscat and Muscadelle.  Wine pioneer William Chambers, and his son Phillip, established the winery in 1858. It is currently managed by winemaker Stephen Chambers, and is situated on Barkly Street in Rutherglen, Victoria.

TASTING NOTES

Chambers Rosewood Grand Muscadelle features a walnut gold colour, accompanied by deep olive and light copper tinges. The attractive bouquet exhibits intense aromas of wood age characters, with light fruit notes lurking in the background. This dazzling fortified wine is luscious and textured on the palate, brimming with generous flavours of walnut, coffee, cardamom, nutmeg, orange peel and raisins, coupled with layers of dark chocolate, dried paw paw, black tea leaf, dried orange rind and treacle. The finish is sweet and refreshing. Drink it with roasted figs, charcuterie and spicy curries to fully appreciate its grand fruit flavours.
