Product Description
Aged in oak barrels for 5 years 1 year in Bordeaux graves rouge barrels. The Marc de Champagne is the result of the distillation of the grapes already pressed to make the Champagne. The grapes are de-stemmed, let to ferment and then distilled at 70°. It is then aged in new wood casks for 5 years before a final year in a cask previously used to age Bordeaux wines. This will bring to it a wonderful woody note, a savory color, vinous and dry notes. Very pleasant as a digestive, it is also used in cooking to obtain fine sauces.
