Product Description
Champagne Taittinger is one of Champagne's historic maisons, known for its elegant, Chardonnay-led style. Prélude Grands Crus is an exclusive cuvée made entirely from grapes sourced from Grand Cru classified vineyards, bringing together the freshness of Chardonnay with the structure and depth of Pinot Noir.
Vintage Conditions
As a non-vintage Champagne, Prélude Grands Crus is created by blending wines from different harvests to maintain the house's characteristic balance and consistency. Its extended cellar ageing allows the blend to develop greater complexity while retaining its freshness and precision.
Winemaking Techniques
Prélude Grands Crus is made from an equal blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards. Only first-press juice is used, helping preserve purity and finesse. The wine is aged for more than five years in the cellars, allowing the mousse and flavours to develop greater depth and texture.
