Located in the Pipers River wine region in Tasmania, Clover Hill Vineyard was established by the Goelet family in 1986, on the site of an old farm in northeast Tasmania. The family released their first vintage in the year 1991. They aim to produce an outstanding range of sparkling wines using traditional French winemaking methods.

TASTING NOTES

This dazzling, salmon pink hued Clover Hill Cuvee Rose is a blend of 3% Pinot Meunier and 43% Pinot Noir grapes with 54% Chardonnay grapes. The fragrant bouquet gives off attractive scents of dark cherries, stewed strawberries and fresh brioche characters. The soft palate packs sweet red berry and cream flavours, providing an elegant mousse-like texture and a captivating finish to the wine. This alluring Rose wine has been crafted to be enjoyed young, but can also be subjected to a few years of cellaring. It tastes great with smoked salmon, ham canapés and fine white meats.
