Winery Background

Coppabella Vineyard is family-run by Jason and Alecia Brown in Tumbarumba, New South Wales. The estate, originally planted in the early 1990s, sits at high elevation with cool climate conditions that lend themselves to expressive Pinot Noir and rosé styles.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2025 Pinot Rosé is made entirely from estate-grown Pinot Noir. Tumbarumba’s cool nights and long ripening season preserve crisp acidity while developing bright red-fruit aromatics typical of the region.

Winemaking Process

Minimal skin contact during pressing resulted in a pale hue. The juice was fermented in a mix of older oak and stainless steel to soften texture slightly while maintaining clarity. Lees ageing was brief to add subtle mouthfeel without weight.

Tasting Notes

Soft salmon pink in colour with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and a touch of spice. On the palate it is dry, clean and refreshing with flavours of red berry and citrus zest, finishing with a refined mineral edge.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with poultry like duck or turkey, richer fish such as salmon, and herb-forward vegetarian or root vegetable dishes. Works well with charcuterie, mild cheeses or colourful vegetable gratins.
