Winery Background

Coppabella Vineyard is a family-run estate in Tumbarumba, New South Wales, restored and operated by Jason and Alecia Brown. Tumbarumba’s cool, elevated vineyards are ideally suited to aromatic whites like Sauvignon Blanc, which Coppabella produces with purity and finesse.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions 

The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from Coppabella’s high-altitude vineyard sites, where cool nights and gradual ripening preserve natural acidity and bright fruit characters typical of the Tumbarumba region.

Winemaking Process

Fruit was harvested fresh, cold-pressed and fermented in stainless steel to retain aromatics and varietal clarity. Minimal lees contact added gentle texture without masking fruit purity.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon in appearance with lifted aromas of citrus blossom, green apple and passionfruit. The palate is vibrant and crisp with flavours of lime zest, melon and grapefruit, concluding in a clean, dry finish.

Food Pairing

Ideal with oysters, fresh seafood, sushi, green salads or goat’s cheese. Its sharp acidity and clarity also complement light herb-driven vegetarian dishes.
